Sales Administrator
Location: Bletchley, Milton Keynes – office based
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Are you an organised and proactive Sales Administrator who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment? We’re recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator to join an ambitious and growing technology business based in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering accurate work, enjoys supporting others and wants to build a long-term career within a fast-moving company.
Working closely with the sales team, you’ll provide essential administrative support throughout the customer journey. From preparing quotations and processing orders to liaising with suppliers and providing delivery updates, you’ll help ensure customers receive an efficient, accurate and professional service.This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll manage multiple priorities and communicate with customers, colleagues, suppliers and partners. You’ll need excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the confidence to take ownership of tasks through to completion.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the sales team
- Preparing accurate customer quotations and checking pricing, product information and availability
- Processing customer orders accurately through internal systems
- Liaising with suppliers and vendors regarding pricing, stock levels, lead times and deliveries
- Tracking orders from quotation through to delivery
- Keeping customers and colleagues updated on order progress
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
- Maintaining accurate customer, order and product information within CRM, ERP and internal systems
- Helping to resolve order, delivery, billing and product queries
- Producing reports and maintaining sales administration records
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce errors
About you:
You’ll ideally have previous experience in sales administration, sales support, order processing, customer service, internal sales or account support. You’ll be a confident and professional communicator who is customer focused, proactive and comfortable working in a busy environment. Strong attention to detail and good Microsoft Office skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage several tasks without losing sight of deadlines or accuracy. Experience using CRM, ERP or order management systems would be beneficial. Previous experience within technology, IT, software, managed services, distribution or reseller environments would be a real advantage. Most importantly, you’ll be positive, dependable, eager to learn and keen to become a valued member of the team.
