Family-run local pub group, Golden Lion Group, is looking for a General Manager for The Bell Tower, a community based pub located on the corner of Kemp Town in Brighton. This is an exciting opportunity to drive and develop a healthy and successful business that is backed by an experienced support system.
The pub has a strong local following that is complimented by a good number of guests visiting the area on the back of our excellent reputation for great pub food and a welcoming atmosphere. Having been added to the group in late 2024 and subsequent refurbishment, sales and reputation have steadily grown and The Bell Tower is certainly on the up!
Reporting directly into the companys Directors you will operate and care for the business as if it were your own.
We have an excellent Kitchen Team, so you will not be needed in the kitchen cooking! With your focus being front of house guest service and business building.
The pub has a team of around 10 employees including the kitchen team - that will rely on you to lead them, inspire them and work with them during peak times to achieve high standards of service. The sales mix is around 70/30 in favour of wet sales and the successful candidate will need to have the right personality to engage with the local customer base, attract & retain local, regular customers and be able to deliver and oversee high standa...
