  • Conduct regular learner progress reviews, identify barriers to development and implement appropriate support plans
  • Carry out assessments through approved processes and maintain accurate assessment records
  • Create, maintain and enhance training materials, learning resources and session plans
  • Adapt training delivery to suit different audiences, experience levels and operational environments
  • Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, progress and compliance records in line with internal and external requirements
  • Build strong relationships with operational managers, apprenticeship stakeholders, awarding bodies and Learning & Development colleagues
  • Promote safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments
  • Help drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback and contributing to the development of training programmes and ways of working

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for someone who is passionate about developing people and capable of delivering impactful training that supports both learner success and business performance

Essential

  • Experience delivering training within an operational, industrial, manufacturing or similarly practical environment
  • Experience supporting learners through structured development programmes, including apprenticeships or vocational learning
  • Experience reviewing learner work, providing developmental feedback and supporting learner progression

  • A recognised training, teaching or learning qualification such as PTLLS, AET or equivalent
  • IOSH, NEBOSH or a comparable Safety, Health or operational qualification
  • A strong understanding of training quality, compliance and learner support requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required

We’d Also Love to See

  • Experience delivering apprenticeship programmes and supporting learner portfolio management
  • Experience delivering accredited Safety or Health training
  • Knowledge of awarding bodies, training providers and vocational learning environments
  • Experience delivering operational competence, mobile plant, maintenance or related training programmes
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, Prevent and British values within a learning environment
  • Experience creating or updating learning materials and training content

Personal Qualities

  • Confident, credible and engaging training style
  • Passion for learning, development and helping others succeed
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational and planning capabilities
  • A learner-focused approach with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • High levels of attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to tailor delivery to different audiences
  • Collaborative, proactive and committed to continuous improvement, inclusion and safety

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry-leading organisation where you can directly influence workforce capability, support learner achievement and help create a safer, more skilled future for our business.
