About our Nursery
Busy Bees Birmingham QE is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 141, located in a two-storey building close to the Queen Elizabeth and Womens Hospitals. The nursery has strong community ties, particularly with the QE hospital, where it participates in initiatives such as the Harvest Festival, creating Christmas cards for patients without families, and a Reverse Christmas Calendar for donating food, toiletries, and toys to those in need. With excellent transport links, including nearby Selly Oak and University Train stations, and various bus routes from the QE hospital, the nursery is easy to access. Role Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Required Qualifications: Ideal Candidate:
Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. xwwtmva
