Job summary
At the End of Life Partnership, our vision is that everyone experiences compassionate and personalised end of life care, and we achieve this through education, innovation and collaboration.

This is an opportunity to join our Education Delivery team, working with our Education Leads and other Practice Educator/Facilitators. The role is an opportunity to influence the quality and experience of end of life care by equipping the workforce with the skills and confidence they need to work in this challenging field.

We are looking for people with experience of palliative care along with education, facilitation or workforce development, experience. You will need the the skills to deliver online and face to face education about one or more of the following areas:

  • Clinical Skills for End of Life Care
  • Delivery of education and training focused on improving end of life care
  • Dementia Care Trainer / Educator
  • 6-Steps Programme for Care Homes
  • Confidence with sensitive conversations


Main duties of the job
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic educator to join our delivery team to develop and inspire the end of life care workforce. The Overall purpose of the role is to:

  • Deliver engaging learning experiences
  • Provide tailored learning and educational opportunities for those delivering end of life care
  • Facilitate reflection and practice development
  • Facilitate the development of best practice and education across different care settings
  • Build confidence in compassionate care
  • Support service improvement
  • Transform, improve and positively influence experiences of dying, death and loss.
  • Champion approaches that positively impact on palliative care, end of life care and end of life experience.
  • Contribute to and guide on specialist areas of work


This is a permanent, full-time post (37.5 hours per week). You will work across Cheshire and the surrounding areas. There will be a mixture of face to face and online delivery, offering opportunities for home working.

Our mission is to help make that happen. We do this by supporting professionals, working in partnership, and collaborating with communities to improve care.

We deliver award-winning, innovative and engaging education that builds the confidence and skills needed to care for people nearing the end of life, whether in a hospice, hospital, care home or their own home.

Working alongside partners, communities and people with lived experience, we co-produce learning, resources and opportunities that help people feel more informed, connected and able to have important conversations about ageing, death and dying.

We also bring organisations together, providing leadership, insight and collaboration to improve consistency and quality across health and care systems.

Together, this work helps create a more confident workforce, an informed and empowered public, and stronger, more connected services.

  • Attainment of Advanced Communication Skills or Train the Trainer accreditation in Communication skills or willingness to undertake
