We are currently recruiting for a full-time Year 5 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Yardley (B25). This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for an experienced teacher to lead a Key Stage 2 class and make a positive impact on pupils during an important stage of their learning journey.

Role Available:\n

Year 5 Class Teacher (Full Time)

\n

* Teaching a Year 5 class within Key Stage 2
\n * Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
\n * Assessing pupil progress and supporting attainment across all areas of learning
\n * Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

About the role:\n

* Monday to Friday - Full time (term time only)
\n * Based in Yardley (B25)
\n * September 2026 start until July 2027
\n * Full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, and assessment
\n * Potential temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate
\n * Working collaboratively with a supportive leadership team and school staff

What we're looking for:\n

We are seeking a committed, experienced, and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.

You will:\n

* Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (within the last 2 years, with references)
\n * Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet a range of learning needs
\n * Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
\n * Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
\n * Have excellent organisational and communication skills
\n * Work effectively as part of a team
\n * Be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
\n * Ideally be local to the area or able to travel to B25

Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs - applicants must have prior teaching experience.
