Job description
Job Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Better Health MCR. Our first contact physiotherapy service is well established. We are on a mission to think differently, to break down barriers, and to improve the lives of our local communities. Our mission is rightly ambitious, and its one that's shared by our team who share our values; to be caring and curious in all that we do. To achieve this, we continue to build our network team, bringing together a service that puts the wellbeing of patients at the heart of what we do. At Better Health MCR our people are our biggest asset. We are a not-for-profit social enterprise reinvesting in our patients, and importantly, in our staff.

Main Duties of the Job
You will provide First-Contact care for adults presenting with musculo-skeletal complaints. One hundred percent of patient contact comes via our digital platform. You decide if the patient can be managed by email / text message, phone or face to face. You will assess and plan care, referring to other services as appropriate. The role may include group sessions for patients to strengthen proactive and preventative care, and provide training, advice and support for our clinical team. The role is well supported and you will be joining two other First Contact Physiotherapists. You will be an experienced and highly motivated physiotherapist. You will have recent experience of working in the community and have a psychologically informed approach to patient care.

About Us
We are Better Health MCR: thinking differently, breaking barriers, improving lives. You can read more about us on our website and in our mission document. We are a friendly, forward-thinking, not-for-profit social enterprise providing primary care medical services in Manchester. We operate three GP practices: The Robert Darbishire Practice in Rusholme Health Centre (which is also head office) and which has a branch at The University of Manchester, Brooklands Medical Practice in Wythenshawe and The Whitswood Practice in Alexandra Park Health Centre. In total we have over 44,000 patients. Our patients are very diverse and include established communities as well as new communities from all over the world. We have good links with the University and a sizeable student population. Our staff team of about 140 people has a huge range of fantastic skills and experience. Our shared (ARRS) staff are fully integrated into our services, providing a seamless service for patients.

Job Responsibilities
The post is full-time, 37.5 hours per week and will be based across our sites. The usual working hours are between 09.00 and 18.00. We can consider part time hours. Salary will be in the range £49,387 to £56,515 depending on experience (Full time is 37.5 hours per week). We offer membership of the NHS Pension Scheme and up to 6.6 weeks' holiday (depending on NHS service) plus bank holidays (pro rata).
