Job description
Are you a senior professional who has the expertise to lead the financial oversight of major capital projects? Our client, a reputable organisation operating in a variety of sectors, is looking for an experienced Capital Projects Accountant to support their finance team in delivering accurate project financial management, reporting, and compliance across diverse initiatives. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the finance team operates within a forward-thinking environment dedicated to transparency, efficiency, and excellence in project delivery. About you Proven experience in capital project accounting and financial management Strong understanding of project financing, budgeting, and cost control Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft Office Effective communicator with strong organisation skills What you'll do Manage and oversee the financial aspects of capital projects from inception to completion Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and expenditure reports Ensure compliance with financial policies, funding conditions, and statutory requirements Collaborate with project managers and external stakeholders to track financial performance Assist with financial reporting, audit preparations, and project documentation Identify cost-saving opportunities and support process improvements in project financial management For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
