Salaried GPJob summaryWe are looking for enthusiastic salaried GP/s to join our clinical team. The position is salaried with the potential to become a partner in the future. We are a friendly team with a supportive educational environment. We are happy to consider flexible working patterns, would consider part or full time and would welcome newly qualified GPs.
Main duties of the job6 sessions per week - flexible working patterns available
We are offering up to £11440 per session per year, top-up indemnity to the NHS scheme. Six weeks pro-rata holiday plus one week study leave pro-rata. Start date is flexible for the right candidates.
About usWe currently have three partners, 4 salaried GPs and 2 ANPs. We are situated on the edge of Weston-super-Mare just a few minutes drive from Junction 21 of the M5. We are close to the sea and rural Somerset. We are part of Pier Health Group a super-partnership within Weston so have very good working relations with all the other practices in the area. We work from a purpose built surgery with a car park.

Job responsibilitiesTo work autonomously to provide medical services to the practice population, delivering a high standard of clinical care and contributing towards patient satisfaction. Adhere to professional standards for good medical practice, lead by example to maintain a collaborative and positive working relationship with the wider team
Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Qualified GP MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
ExperienceEssential- Excellent level of clinical knowledge and skills in line with that of an experienced GP
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong IT skills
- Clear, polite telephone manner
- Effective time management (Planning & Organising)
- Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Problem solving & analytical skills
- Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure
- Experience with audit and able to lead audit programmes
