What youll do
Youll hold consultations (by phone, video or in person) with people applying for Work Capability Assessment (WCA) benefits. Youll assess a wide range of conditions and impairments, using your clinical expertise to make fair, accurate decisions.
Your verbal communication skills will be just as important as your ability to write high-quality reports using a specialised IT system. Youll also work with your manager to keep developing your skills and career as a Functional Assessor.
