Job description

Turn insight into impact. Drive campaigns that make a difference.

Are you a highly organised project manager with a flair for storytelling and a passion for turning data into compelling insights? Do you thrive in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for a Campaigns & Insights Project Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering high quality campaigns, member communications, and insight led content that informs, engages, and inspires. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our organisation, coordinating projects from concept to delivery while transforming complex information into meaningful content that supports our members and shapes campaign success.

This is a unique opportunity to combine project management, communications, and insight analysis in a role that delivers real value to members and supports campaigns that influence change. You will join a collaborative and passionate team where your work will have a visible impact and your ideas will help shape how we engage, inform, and support our members.

Why Join Logistics UK?

Logistics UK is one of the leading business groups in the UK, representing the breadth of the logistics sector and championing safe, efficient and sustainable supply chains. Our mission is to support, shape and stand up for the logistics industry, recognising its vital role in “Keeping Britain Trading”. With over 7 million people working across the making, selling and moving of goods, logistics impacts every household in the UK.

Our members span the full supply chain, from cargo owners to transport operators across road, rail, air and sea, as well as the ports, airports and warehouses essential to a thriving logistics ecosystem. With unrivalled expertise and industry insight, we empower our members from major retailers to manufacturers to thrive in an increasingly complex, fast-moving environment.

As the collective voice of the sector, Logistics UK advocates for member interests at the highest levels. Whether supporting national resilience through Covid‑19 and Brexit or shaping the future through AI, automation and decarbonisation, logistics is at the heart of the UK’s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

As our Campaigns & Insights Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind the planning, coordination, and delivery of a range of campaign and insight products, including reports, newsletters, briefings, webinars, and member communications.

You will work closely with colleagues across policy, public affairs, communications, and insight teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on brand, and with maximum impact.

Leading Campaign Delivery

  • Managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring smooth and effective delivery.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, workflows, and content schedules.
  • Coordinating contributions from internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and keeping projects on track.
  • Supporting wider campaigning, events, and member engagement activities.
  • Managing the directorate's planning grid and campaign pipeline.

Creating Engaging Content

  • Producing clear, compelling content for member newsletters, reports, briefings, and campaign materials.
  • Translating complex policy, research, or technical information into accessible and engaging messages.
  • Editing and proofreading content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality.
  • Bringing fresh ideas to content development, storytelling, and audience engagement.

Turning Data into Insight

  • Working with colleagues to analyse research, surveys, and data to identify key messages and trends.
  • Presenting findings through impactful narratives, charts, and visual content.
  • Supporting evidence-based campaigns and recommendations.
  • Ensuring all insight products are accurate, credible, and well sourced.

Building Relationships

  • Engaging with members to gather feedback, case studies, and survey responses.
  • Developing strong working relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • Keeping members informed and engaged through effective communications.
  • Promoting insight products and campaign outputs across the organisation.

Driving Continuous Improvement

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance campaign delivery, member engagement, and content quality.
  • Keeping up to date with best practice in project management, communications, and data storytelling.

Requirements

  • Degree educated in an analytical discipline or relevant and demonstrable experience in this field.
  • Proven project management experience, ideally within a membership organisation, trade association, communications, or similar environment.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to create engaging content for different audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence interpreting data and presenting insights clearly.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • A commitment to producing high-quality work and delivering results.
  • Experience working in policy, public affairs, campaigning, or advocacy.
  • Knowledge of digital communications tools, including e-news platforms, CMS systems, and analytics.
  • Understanding of membership organisations and the value they provide to their members.

Benefits

We value our employees and offer a wide range of benefits recognising that no two employees are the same – everyone has different preferences and needs that change over time.

  • Basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum dependent on skillset and previous experience
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
