Our client, a highly regarded and expanding Top 20 Accountancy firm with several UK offices and proud member of a renowned International network, seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Personal Tax Manager to join their Edinburgh team.

Main duties:
Manage portfolio of clients, meeting their requirements and maximising fee income.
Manage the production of clients personal tax computations.
Plan, control, and review work carried out be team members to ensure work is completed within time frames and budget.
Respond to tax queries from Partners/Directors/Managers.
Carry out consultancy work when required.
Attend client meetings where appropriate.
Design and implement standard letters/systems to improve the efficiency of the Tax Department.
Spot opportunities for relevant advisory work with existing clients.
People management, training, mentoring
What our Client seeks:
ICAS, ACA or CTA qualified with proven UK PERSONAL TAX experience in practice
Varied, practical and technical tax knowledge.
Positive, enthusiastic approach
Able to manage/ train junior members of staff.
IT packages (Excel, tax software, Word).
Communication skills.
Organisational skills.
Commercial awareness / client focus.
Problem solving and decision making. xwwtmva
