Music Teacher - Secondary School - Bradford Are you a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher looking to join a secondary school where the performing arts are celebrated and students are encouraged to develop their musical talents? Music Teacher Role Teaching Music to GCSE and A-Level (KS3/4/5) Bradford MPS1 – UPS3 Salary Full-Time or Part-Time Music Teacher An ambitious secondary school in Bradford is looking to appoint an inspiring Music Teacher to join its successful Performing Arts department from September. This is an exciting opportunity to teach students who are enthusiastic about music while contributing to a department that places creativity, performance and musical excellence at the centre of its curriculum. The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level Music. Students develop practical performance skills alongside musical theory, composition, listening and appraising, studying a wide range of musical styles from classical and jazz to contemporary and world music. The department benefits from dedicated music classrooms, rehearsal spaces, recording facilities and a wide range of instruments that enable students to explore their creativity. Teachers regularly organise concerts, productions, school performances and enrichment clubs that allow students to perform both within the school and the wider community. The school offers excellent CPD, a comprehensive mentoring programme and clear progression opportunities for teachers wishing to develop their careers.
