Job description
Job summary
As a GP consultant you will be working in teams with some really cool staff including nurse practitioners, practice nurses, clinical pharmacists, physician associates, physiotherapists and care navigators. Here is a short video https://youtu.be/TsmE6WqGRoM. You will also have the opportunity to lead a team to develop ideas in our innovation labs for day a week.

We are increasingly working with groups of patients to deliver care with some great results.

  • 7 GPs, 3 ANP/ Nurses, 2 HCAs, 1 PAs & GP Trainee.
  • PCN clinical pharmacist, Pharmacy technician, Physiotherapist, social prescribers, paramedic, mental health practitioner.
  • 8 Care Navigators effective at triaging calls, tasks and correspondence
  • Mixture of 10 minute and 15 minute face2face appointments
  • NHS WiFi, Skype and SystmOne utilised
  • Daily clinical debriefs, practice meetings and away days

  • Modern purpose built Practice, 3 min from Hounslow Central Tube station opposite High Street Quarter development to include cinema, shops and eateries.

Regular clinic layout for 2 sessions: 09:40-11:00 Clinic, 11:00-11:30 Practice Debrief, 11:30-13:00 Clinic, 13:00-13:30 Lunch, 13:30-15:00 Admin (Tasks), 15:00-18:00 Clinic, 18:00-18:30 Admin

Looking for 2 sessions on Thursdays

Qualifications
Essential
  • GP must hold MRCGP certification

Desirable
  • SystmOne experience
