:Position Summary: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
At Elliot Family Medicine at Bedford, a department of Elliot Hospital, we care for you and your whole family. We know how to treat the youngest member of your family to the oldest – right here in one office. We offer a wide range of services including women's health, well-child exams, and routine healthcare maintenance.
Assists providers in the administration of patient care in assigned clinical areas. Assists with patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatment, and dressing changes. Performs general administrative duties in accordance with JCAHO, CLIA, NCQA and government standards, as well as company policies and procedures.

Education/Experience/Licensure
MA I
Education: HS Diploma or GED required and One of the following:
Experience: 1 year of relevant healthcare exp. (can include externship), 1 -2 years exp. in a clinical ambulatory care setting preferred.
Certification/Licensure: Must possess BLS authorization upon 90 days of employment and maintain during employment. CMA, RMA or CCMA preferred.
MA II
Education: HS Diploma or GED required and One of the following:
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant.
Certification/Licensure: CMA, RMA or CCMA required. Must possess BLS authorization upon 90 days of employment and maintain during employment.
