This post is open to internal staff of UHN only

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Endoscopy Unit for a band 5 registered nurse for the above post.

A position is available for a Registered Nurse to become part of our team in Endoscopy.

This continually expanding service offers new opportunities in a friendly and progressive unit. Endoscopy experience is not required as in house training will be given, however it would be an advantage.

You will be working a variety of shifts covering 8 am to 7pm variable dependent on service needs. Days only.

There is also a 24hr on call emergency GI bleed rota that all qualified staff will participate in.

Main duties of the job
  • It is desirable that applicants have a minimum of 2 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • An enthusiasm and an interest in Endoscopy and working as part of a Multidisciplinary team within the Endoscopy Unit, in all areas throughout the department, is essential.
  • The hours of work are flexible to meet the needs of the service with participation in the out of hours on-call rota after sufficient training
