This role offers the chance to work on a variety of clean water and water recycling projects, helping ensure assets are tested, optimised, and ready for operation before handover.

WhatYou’llBe Doing
Working within a multi-disciplinary team,you’llplay a key role in commissioning activities across a broad range of projects. With a focus on safety, quality, and performance,you’llhelp ensure that new assets function as intended and deliver long-term value for our customers and the environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the planning and execution of commissioning activities on site
Collaborating with design, delivery, and operational teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Assistingin site inspections, testing, and performance verification of new assets
Producing andmaintainingcommissioning documentation, including method statements and risk assessments
Helping to resolve technical issues and optimise performance
Participating in site acceptance testing and early engagement with equipment suppliers
Feeding into continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned processes
About You
You’rea hands-on engineer with a collaborative mindset and a passion for technical delivery.You’recomfortable working in dynamic site environments and are eager to learn from experienced colleagues while contributing your ownexpertise.
To be successful in this role,you’llneed:
A HNC (or equivalent Level 4 qualification) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering
Some relevant experience in commissioning, operations, or maintenance (preferably within the water or utilities sector)
A good understanding of process control, instrumentation, or M&E systems
Strong communicationand teamwork skills
A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a willingness to learn and adapt
