Job description

Who we are:

At Preferred Travel Group, we champion the power of travel to inspire meaningful connections and enrich lives around the world. As a global family of brands and programs representing the finest independent hotels and resorts, we are united by a shared belief in authenticity, collaboration, and the value of independent spirit. Our culture reflects our ideology in action: people first, relationships at the center, and a commitment to creating lasting impact for our partners, our global community, and one another. When you join Preferred, you become part of a purpose-driven organization where ideas are welcomed, growth is encouraged, and your work contributes to shaping the future of travel.

Why this role matters:

We are seeking a commercially minded, proactive, and highly organized marketing professional to help drive the success and growth of Preferred Hotels & Resorts' global partnerships portfolio. This role plays a key part in developing and executing partnership marketing strategies that generate incremental revenue for Preferred’s member hotels, strengthen the I Prefer Hotel Rewards program, and enhance the global visibility of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. Working closely with partners and cross-functional teams across Marketing, Loyalty, Digital, Finance, Legal, and regional business functions, you will lead partnership activations, ensure existing partnerships deliver measurable value to the business, and identify new partner opportunities.

Success in this role comes from building strong, mutually beneficial partner relationships, delivering impactful marketing initiatives, and creating innovative opportunities that drive hotel bookings, member acquisition, program engagement, and long-term commercial growth.

What you’ll deliver:

  • Expand partnership strategy — Support the growth of PH&R’s global partnership strategy across points redemption, travel, financial, and regional partner categories.
  • Manage partnership portfolio — Collaborate with the Senior Director, Global Partnerships to oversee the existing partner ecosystem and onboard new partners, ensuring full delivery of contractual commitments.
  • Lead marketing execution — Direct all marketing planning, activation, and performance reporting for global partnerships in collaboration with internal Marketing and Loyalty teams.
  • Oversee financial partner initiatives — Manage points transfer launches, promotional campaigns, and performance reporting for financial partners.
  • Manage loyalty status match programs — Oversee all partner driven status match initiatives, including technical implementation and marketing, to drive qualified I Prefer member acquisition.
  • Develop regional partnerships — Partner with regional teams to build impactful, market relevant partnership opportunities.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities — Source and evaluate new partnership prospects that deliver measurable commercial value to PH&R and member hotels.
  • Lead partnership reporting — Produce comprehensive reporting that demonstrates partner performance, highlights trends, and provides actionable insights.
  • Deliver partner presentations — Create and present compelling materials for existing partners and prospective brands.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Ideally, you will have 8+ years of proven marketing experience, with a focus on partnership marketing, loyalty marketing, or related commercial marketing disciplines.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns and partnership programs.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make commercially focused recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external partners.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

________________________________________

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Previous experience within the hospitality, travel, loyalty, or rewards industry.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading others within a marketing or partnership function.

Where you’ll thrive:

  • A fast-moving environment with plenty of variety, where balancing multiple partnerships, projects, and priorities keeps every day interesting.
  • Combining analytical thinking with commercial creativity, using data, insights, and expertise to identify opportunities and deliver meaningful results.
  • Taking ownership of important initiatives, making sound decisions with confidence, and ensuring a high standard of quality from concept through execution.
  • Leading through expertise and influence, building trust with colleagues and partners while staying actively involved in bringing ideas and opportunities to life.

________________________________________

Our Working Culture:

With our in-office philosophy, our associates are expected to be in the office at least three days per week, supporting a healthy balance between in-person collaboration and flexible remote work. We take pride in our vibrant and inclusive culture, which thrives on meaningful connection, shared purpose, and cross-functional teamwork. In-office engagement plays a vital role in fostering spontaneous collaboration, accelerating innovation, and strengthening relationships across teams. It also provides valuable opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and a deeper sense of community. Please note: While the current expectation is a minimum of three days per week in the office, this may evolve over time in alignment with business needs and our continued commitment to culture-building.
