Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, a graduate considering a career in teaching or someone with experience working with young people, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play an important role in keeping learning on track when teachers are away, supporting pupils and making sure the classroom remains calm, focused and ready to learn.
Your role could include:
- Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering pre-set work and supporting pupils with their learning
- Managing classroom behaviour confidently and consistently
- Building positive relationships with students
- Ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged
- Supporting the wider school team when needed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people, or a genuine interest in education
- Is confident managing a classroom
- Can build positive relationships with pupils
- Is reliable, adaptable and able to think on their feet
- Has a calm and positive approach to behaviour management
- Is keen to make a difference in a secondary school setting
