\nEvent Support Operatives & Supervisor\n \n Newport\n \n \n We are recruiting 6 Event Support Operatives and 1 Supervisor to support the setup and breakdown of a large-scale event at ICC Wales, Celtic Manor Resort.\n Shift Details\n \n Wednesday 12th August\n \n

  • Event Breakdown
    • \n
\n \n Please note: candidates must be available to work BOTH dates.\n \n \n The Supervisor/Foreman role must also cover both shifts.\n Pay Rates\n
    \n
  • Wednesday (Standard Hours): £13.14 per hour
    • \n
  • Sunday: £26.28 per hour
    • \n
  • Weekly pay
    • \n
Key Duties\n
    \n
  • Loading and unloading pallets from lorries and delivery vehicles.
    • \n
  • Wrapping and unwrapping palletised stock and event equipment.
    • \n
  • Assisting with the setup and breakdown of the event.
    • \n
  • Moving stock, equipment and materials around the venue.
    • \n
  • Operating pallet jacks where required.
    • \n
  • Following instructions from the Event Management Team.
    • \n
  • Supporting general logistics and operational activities on site.
    • \n
  • Working safely and efficiently as part of a team.
    • \n
Candidate Requirements\n
    \n
  • Must be available for both shift dates.
    • \n
  • Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual handling duties.
    • \n
  • Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift.
    • \n
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
    • \n
  • Positive attitude and able to work well within a team.
    • \n
  • Able to follow instructions and work proactively.
    • \n
  • Must provide and wear your own safety boots.
    • \n
\n \n Previous experience within events, warehousing, logistics, labouring or general operative work would be advantageous but is not essential.\n What's Included\n
