An exciting opportunity has arisen within North Kent College’s Equine department in the capacity of an Equine Riding Instructor. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Equestrian Riding Instructor to join our curriculum team based at our Hadlow campus in Kent.
The Equine Unit at Hadlow has extensive facilities including two indoor arenas, a large outdoor arena and stabling for 64 horses. Teaching resources include a full set of competition show jumps, portable cross-country fences and a mechanical horse.
You will be joining a diverse team of Equine Lecturers, Riding Instructors and Equine Grooms to enhance the curriculum provision and employability of equine learners. As part of the role, you’ll be required to prepare, teach, and assess at a variety of riding levels, providing support and guidance to your learners as they progress through their riding journeys.
You will be responsible for allocating horses and supervising their preparation. Within the role you will exercise College horses and can compete them in our onsite events. You will work closely with industry professionals to enrich the learner experience in preparation for their next steps.
