Job description

Job overview

We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and passionate Band 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner to come and join our well-established Adult Community Mental Health Team based in Skipton — a beautiful rural market town often known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.

This is a really rewarding role, working across a wide and varied patch that includes both town and countryside communities. You’ll be supporting people with severe and enduring mental health needs through assessment, formulation, care planning, risk management, and prescribing.

What really makes this role special is the team you’ll be joining. We are a warm, welcoming, and highly experienced group who pride ourselves on supporting one another. There’s a strong sense of community here — both within the team and across the area we serve — and we work closely together to provide the best possible care.

We offer a supportive environment where your development genuinely matters, with opportunities to grow, learn, and progress in your career.

Above all, this role is about making a difference — walking alongside people during some of their most difficult times, while helping them build confidence, resilience, and move toward becoming the best version of themselves.

Previous applicants need not apply.
