Job description
Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst - Birmingham

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent | Full-time

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to support a busy and expanding workload across Birmingham and the wider Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified professional seeking strong job security, varied work, and long-term progression.

This role offers a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites.

What You'll Be Joining You'll be joining a reputable consultancy known for delivering high-quality asbestos services and maintaining a strong focus on compliance, staff wellbeing, and structured workloads. The company offers a supportive environment with clear progression routes.

Salary & Benefits £35,000 - £40,000 salary (DOE)

The Role Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys

Undertaking air monitoring, including 4-stage clearances and reoccupation certification

Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring compliance with procedures

Producing accurate, compliant reports in line with HSG264 and HSG248

Managing workload across multiple sites

Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams

Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality

About You BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (essential)

Full UK driving licence

Experience working in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role

Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance

Professional, organised, and reliable

Strong communication skills
