You will own reconciliations, ledgers, payroll, VAT, and reporting, working closely with senior management to keep the venue’s finances accurate, timely, and well organised.
This is a hands-on role with significant growth opportunities for someone who works well with numbers and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. *Responsibilities* * Daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations * Daily journal entries * Income and expenditure analysis * Stock procedures and analysis * Loss and cost control * Performance analysis and reconciliations * Investor reporting * Year-end accounts preparation and support for tax filings * Quarterly VAT returns and monthly tax and PAYE reporting * Payroll processing and analysis * Accounts payable and receivable (purchase and sales ledgers) * General ledger (GL) maintenance *Skills & Requirements* * Proven bookkeeping or accounts experience; hospitality or restaurant experience an advantage * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (essential) * Experience with accounting software — QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage; hospitality back-office systems a plus * Strong numeracy and analytical skills * Highly organised, with strong attention to detail * Reports directly to senior management *Salary & Benefits* * Salary : £40,000-£50,000 annually depending on experience * Workplace pension * Full-time position * Location : In person, Covent Garden, London
