We are now recruiting a Night Manager at our Tavistock Hotel.
Nestled in the heart of London, Bloomsbury.
The Tavistock Hotel has 395 rooms and is a homely place to be, offering an on-site Indian restaurant bar and laid-back lounge bar. Putting our guests at the heart of everything you do, you make it your mission to ensure that you and your team deliver an exceptional guest journey from check-in to check-out.
Working alongside the Front Office Manager, you will be a role model for the team, leading by example to create a memorable guest experience for each guest and address any shortfalls in service quality and operating standards. *Key Duties will include the following : * * Oversee and direct all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety. * Conduct regular team meetings with Supervisors and Staff Members to discuss agreed areas of operational focus including security, service quality, KPIs, targets, guest feedback and manage matters arising from meetings, including action plans. * Overall responsibility for the emergency procedures during the night shift, including, but not limited to the safe evacuation in cases of emergency. *What we'd like from you* * Previous operational experience as a Night Manager or an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager / Duty Manager. * Passion for hospitality - you are all about creating memorable experiences for others no matter what time of day. * With your excellent organisation skills, you'll be able to multi-task and also adapt to changing priorities. * You will be a natural leader with great communication skills and you know how to get the best out of their team and help them reach both personal and business goals. * A positive can-do attitude, you are calm under pressure, able to work both independently and as part of a team. * Previous knowledge of Opera is desirable. *What's In It for You : * * 28 days holiday, rising to 33 with length of service (including bank holidays). * Free meals on duty * Access to ILH Training Academy programmes, apprenticeships and supported study * Holiday Purchase Scheme * Complimentary uniform dry cleaning, plus discounted personal dry cleaning * Interest free Season Ticket Loan * Workplace Pension * Team member flat rate and 50% friends and family hotel discount * 50% discount across ILH F&B outlets * Discounted drinks at Blooms Caf * Employee funded Health Cash Plan * Local Bloomsbury discounts * Early Pay access * Shopping discounts with selected retailers * Salary sacrifice schemes including nursery care, cycle to work, and technology * Access to mental health first aiders, wellbeing support and the Employee Assistance Programme You can explore additional benefits here. *About Us : * With a 185-year legacy, our company combines the stability of a long-standing 7th generation family business with the innovation of a startup.
