Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Substance Misuse Lead- Clinical Nurse Specialist at Yeovil Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical nursing advice, education and leadership within the specialty to result in an improvement to the standard of care provided.

To act as a source of expertise, advice and knowledge for patients, carers and health care professionals.

There is an expectation that hours are worked flexibly over a rota basis which does include nights and weekends. Qualifications
Essential
  • Registered general nurse
  • Completion of non-medical prescribing competency
  • Demonstrate the ability to work at masters level
  • Post registration qualification in substance abuse or evidence to demonstrate competence in

  • Minimum of 2 years experience at band 6 level
