This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join in the future development of 3 different sites .

Affinity Partnerships are seeking to appoint a keen and committed SEN learning support assistant to support our students, including individuals and groups, both academically and socially.

\n

The successful applicant:

\n
    \n
  • Have a sound understanding of Primary/Secondary Education
  • \n
  • Develop a good understanding of the student's EHCP - their strengths, needs, outcomes and practice.
  • \n
  • Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
  • \n
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative.
  • \n
  • Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1.
  • \n
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
  • \n

Affinity Partnerships are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all its temporary workers to share this commitment. Successful applicates will, in accordance with statutory guidance, be subject to a comprehensive pre-employment checking process including references from current and previous employers, health, right to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS check and further check against the appropriate barred list. This role involved working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
