Overview
Are you an experienced technical leader who enjoys developing people, driving performance and shaping the future of a growing business?
We're recruiting for a Head of Technical Services to join an established and ambitious organisation delivering specialist services across the environmental, surveying and infrastructure sectors.
This is a newly created leadership role offering the opportunity to build and develop a multidisciplinary technical function. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll be responsible for leading technical teams, improving operational performance and creating a culture focused on collaboration, development and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate
· Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification within a relevant technical discipline
· Experience leading multidisciplinary technical or professional services teams
· Proven background within one or more of the following:
o Environmental Consultancy
o Land Surveying
o Engineering Surveying
o Planning
o GIS / Geospatial
o Environmental Monitoring
· Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring experience
· Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
· Commercial awareness with the ability to support business growth
· Passion for developing people and improving team performance

This opportunity would suit experienced technical leaders who have progressed through consultancy, infrastructure, environmental or surveying environments and are looking for a role with greater influence.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary technical teams

· Drive operational performance and continuous improvement
· Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
· Support business development and commercial growth
· Ensure technical projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards
· Oversee resource planning and departmental performance
· Promote collaboration across technical disciplines
