Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking an exceptional Director of Public Health and Communities to provide strategic leadership across public health, prevention, community wellbeing and leisure services. This is an outstanding opportunity to influence the future of one of the UK's most progressive local authorities while improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities across the district. This is far more than a traditional Director of Public Health position. As a key member of the Council's Corporate Management Team, you will help shape the organisation's strategic direction, working collaboratively with elected members, NHS partners, voluntary organisations, regional bodies and community stakeholders to deliver innovative, place-based approaches that improve lives.
