General Manager
- The Fleur de Lys, Cranborne
Salary OTE: Up
to £56,250 + uncapped Cash Builder bonus
The Fleur de Lys,
named “Best Country Pub” in Dorset 2026, sits inside the Cranborne Chase Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With 9 bedrooms, the 17th-century building keeps
its low ceilings and open fires, and the kitchen leans into Dorset ingredients
across pub bangers, a la carte dishes and Nole pizza.
This is a hands-on
role. You'll lead from the front, build a team that genuinely enjoys working
together, and set the standard every day. We're after a General Manager who
takes pride in running a proper pub. Someone who notices the little things,
backs their team, and understands that great hospitality is about making people
feel looked after.

Our mission –
At Chickpea,
we're reimagining rural hospitality.
That means
bringing well-loved pubs back to life, serving honest food and decent booze,
and creating places where locals, regulars and visitors all feel at home.
We're founder-owned
and seven years in. Today, we run ten pubs across the Southwest, but
the idea hasn't changed much since day one. Great pubs are built by
great people. We trust our people to make decisions, giving them room to grow,
celebrating the good days and backing each other through the chaotic ones too.
