We're looking for an exceptional hospitality leader to join our opening management team.
As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience, leading the front-of-house team and helping establish the service culture of one of London's most exciting new hospitality destinations. *About the Role* As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading the front-of-house operation during service, ensuring every guest receives exceptional hospitality from arrival to departure. Working closely with the General Manager, Bar Supervisor, Kitchen and Box Office teams, you'll oversee daily service, inspire your team and ensure the venue consistently delivers the highest standards of hospitality. You'll lead by example on the floor, creating a positive team culture while ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable Blue Note experience. *Key Responsibilities* * Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team during daily service. * Deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. * Conduct daily pre-service briefings, ensuring the team is fully informed on menus, performances, VIP bookings and operational updates. * Oversee smooth opening, service and closing procedures. * Monitor service standards throughout the venue, ensuring consistency across all guest touchpoints. * Support efficient labour deployment and floor planning throughout service. * Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, resolving issues quickly and effectively. * Build relationships with regular guests, VIPs, artists and industry partners. * Ensure restaurant sections are appropriately staffed and supported during busy periods. * Work collaboratively with the kitchen, bar, box office and production teams to ensure seamless service. * Monitor cleanliness, presentation and maintenance standards throughout guest-facing areas. * Ensure compliance with licensing, food safety and health & safety legislation. * Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members. * Coach and develop team members through regular feedback and performance management. * Assist with rotas, holiday planning and labour management. * Support private events, corporate bookings and special performances. * Maintain accurate cash handling and POS procedures. * Promote a positive, respectful and inclusive workplace culture. *Skills & Experience* We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for exceptional guest service and team leadership. *You'll have : * * Previous experience as a Floor Manager, Assistant Manager or Restaurant Manager within a premium hospitality venue. * Outstanding leadership and communication skills. * A passion for delivering world-class guest experiences. * Experience managing high-volume restaurant or bar operations. * Excell * Confidence managing multiple priorities under pressure. * Experience coaching and developing hospitality teams. * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays. * The legal right to work in the UK. *Salary & Benefits* * Salary : £45,000 per annum + tronc (depending on experience). *Benefits* * Blue Note London staff discount. * Company pension scheme. * 28 days paid annual leave inclusive of bank holidays. * Ongoing training and professional development. * Career progression opportunities. * Opportunity to join the opening team at one of London's most exciting hospitality venues.
