The role is necessary to carry out clinical reviews and provide case managers with advice in relation to complaints and enquiries in connection with PIP referrals. Complaints and enquiries can come from customers, representatives (including welfare rights groups & MPs), as well as DWP. Part of the role is also to provide outcomes and feedback on all complaints about healthcare professionals that is used as part of professional development and improvement in addition to being utilised to make overall business improvements. About The Role As a Nurse Functional Assessor at Maximus, youll use your clinical expertise to understand how a persons disability or health condition affects their daily life. You’ll work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders, while your compassion and experience helps customers move forward with their lives. The role can be both challenging and rewarding, which is why we provide a tailored training programme* to help you thrive. Youll begin with formal training before assessing customers and have ongoing support and mentorship in your role with us. Requirements * Valid NMC registration number * At least 1 year of broad post‑registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS * You MUST have the right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorships * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports What We Offer * £39,500 salary * Flexible working – full-time, part-time and hybrid * No bank holidays, evenings or weekends * Leading maternity and paternity paid leave * Bank holidays plus 25 days’ holiday with the option to buy or sell 5 days * Ongoing CPD, clinical development and reimbursed validation fees * £2,000 for referring a friend * Life insurance and Medicash Healthcare Cash Plan * £1,000 bonus for achieving accreditation within the first four months * Competitive annual performance bonus, paid quarterly Minimum Salary: £38,000.00 Maximum Salary: £49,000.00 EEO Statement * MAXIMUS is committed to developing, maintaining and supporting a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.
