The role focuses on analysing performance, optimising product and stock levels, and leading promotional activity to maximise commercial results.
Working cross-functionally with buying, merchandising, and marketing teams, they ensure aligned trading decisions while leading a team to deliver strong operational and financial performance.What you will doLead and implement the overall trading strategy to maximise sales and marginAnalyse sales performance data and market trends to inform decision-makingMonitor and optimise product performance across all categoriesManage stock levels to ensure availability while minimising risk (overstock/markdown)Plan and execute promotional activity to drive revenue and customer engagementCollaborate closely with Buying, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to align trading plansIdentify growth opportunities and recommend actions to improve performanceEnsure operational excellence across all trading activitiesLead, coach, and develop a team to achieve trading objectivesSet clear performance targets and monitor team deliveryFoster a high-performance, commercially focused cultureWhat you will bringProven experience in sales forecasting, data analysis, and decision-making to drive financial performanceStrong understanding of e-commerce and online trading, including knowledge of driving website sales and conversionsExperience in team xwwtmva leadership, including setting objectives, performance monitoring, and fostering a collaborative work environmentProficiency in tools for sales and inventory planning, as well as experience with multi-channel retail operationsExceptional organizational and communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams effectivelyPassion for fashion and an understanding of the plus-size market is a significant advantageDegree in business, merchandising, retail management, or a related field is preferred
