About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join our team in Deli on a fixed-term contract until December 2027.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading all aspects of food safety, quality, compliance and legality within a fast-paced chilled food manufacturing environment.

You will play a critical role in maintaining the site's technical integrity, developing technical capability and ensuring the highest standards are consistently achieved across the business.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the site technical strategy, ensuring delivery of group, customer and category objectives.Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, legal, customer and internal standards.Develop and lead the technical team through effective coaching, training, succession planning and performance management.Build strong relationships with customers, retailers and external stakeholders while providing expert technical guidance across the site.Drive continuous improvement through KPI management, risk assessment, audit programmes and root cause analysis.About You We believe success comes from collaboration and diverse perspectives.

Youll bring the following skills and experience: Significant experience in technical or quality leadership roles within chilled food manufacturing.HACCP Level 4 and Food Safety Level 4 qualifications.Strong knowledge of retailer standards, including Tesco TFS, BRC, M&S and Sainsbury's requirements.Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire technical teams.Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness.A passion for food safety, quality and continuous improvement.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.The ability to influence at all levels internally and externally.A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to developing others.What We Offer Were building a workplace where different ways of thinking are not just welcomed but supported, with clear communication, flexible processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement so everyone can thrive.
