Milk & Effluent Treatment Plant TechnicianBridgwater | Full-Time | PermanentShift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 Days / 2 Nights)We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual to join our Bridgwater site as a Milk & Effluent Treatment Plant Technician .This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently, and solving problems. While experience in water treatment, effluent treatment, laboratory work, or asset care would be advantageous, we are equally interested in candidates with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
You'll play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our Effluent Treatment Plant, helping us maintain environmental standards and ensuring the smooth running of site operations. What You'll Be DoingOperating and monitoring the Effluent Treatment PlantSupporting day-to-day site environmental operationsRecording and analysing plant dataIdentifying issues and escalating concerns where requiredCarrying out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance activitiesMaintaining accurate records and compliance documentationWorking with production, engineering, and external contractors to support plant performanceDriving continuous improvement and helping to identify better ways of workingWhat We're Looking ForEssentialA proactive, positive approach to workComfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasksGood problem-solving and organisational skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to learn new processes and systemsGood communication skillsFlexibility to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights)DesirableExperience in water treatment, effluent treatment, utilities, or environmental operationsLaboratory experience, including sampling, testing, and recording resultsAsset care or basic maintenance experienceExperience within FMCG, manufacturing, food, or dairy environmentsFull training will be provided for the right candidate.
