OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE -
Previous experience in a guest service, reservations, sales or customer-focused role
Excellent communication skills with a professional and confident telephone manner
Strong IT skills and experience using computer booking systems and Microsoft Office applications
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
The ability to build rapport quickly and identify opportunities to enhance guest stays through upselling
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
The ability to work independently and as part of a busy team
Experience using Opera, Concept or similar hotel management systems would be advantageous

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL -
Deliver a genuine, warm and friendly welcome to every guest, creating a personalised experience at every opportunity
Handle room, restaurant and spa reservations, ensuring all bookings are processed accurately and efficiently
Respond to guest enquiries by telephone, email and online channels, delivering excellent service at all times
Promote hotel facilities, spa experiences, dining options and special offers to maximise revenue opportunities
Ensure all bookings, guest profiles, deposits and payments are accurately recorded and maintained
Liaise closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest requirements and special requests are fulfilled
Highlight VIP guests and ensure appropriate arrangements are in place prior to arrival
Support the achievement of departmental revenue targets and service excellence objectives
