Are you a qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for a rewarding role within a primary school setting?
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive primary school nursery in Blackburn from September. This is an excellent opportunity to work within an established Early Years team, supporting children's learning and development during their crucial early years.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
• Support children aged 3–4 years within the school's nursery provision.
• Deliver engaging learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development through play-based learning.
• Support children's communication, language, literacy, and numeracy skills.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Requirements
• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, or primary school Early Years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A nurturing, positive, and proactive approach to supporting young children.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
