This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across Planned Works, Voids, and Responsive Maintenance (RM) contracts.Working across both occupied and unoccupied properties, you will be responsible for delivering first-time fixes wherever possible, while ensuring excellent customer service and full compliance with health and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out multi-trade repairs and maintenance to a high standard in residents' homes and void propertiesComplete a range of tasks including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling, and basic brickworkSupport void refurbishments and planned works programmes, ensuring properties are safe, compliant, and ready to letAttend responsive maintenance call-outs, diagnosing issues and achieving first-time fixes where possibleAccurately complete PDA updates, timesheets, and work reportsCommunicate professionally with residents, clients, and colleaguesConduct on-site risk assessments and adhere to all Health & Safety legislation and company proceduresWear appropriate PPE at all times and take responsibility for site safetyWork flexibly across the region, adapting to varying locations and tasksMentor apprentices and support team members where requiredPromote sustainability by minimising waste and using materials efficientlyParticipate in Health & Safety inspections and toolbox talksTake part in the out-of-hours rota (where applicable)About YouProven experience as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing, planned works, voids, or RM environmentsSkilled in at least two core trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling, brickwork)Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and risk assessmentsExcellent customer service and communication skillsComfortable working in occupied propertiesCompetent using handheld devices (PDA/mobile apps)Full, clean UK driving licenceMust hold (or be eligible for) SC clearance and meet BPSS requirementsNVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) in a relevant tradeValid training in Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling, and First AidDesirableExperience working on MOD, local xwwtmva authority, or housing association contractsAbility to carry out plumbing works safely and compliantlyExperience mentoring apprentices or junior staffPersonal AttributesProfessional, reliable, and customer-focusedStrong attention to detail and pride in workmanshipAble to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible, proactive, and adaptableCommitted to safety, quality, and continuous improvementWhat's in it for you?Up to £32,947 per annum23 days' holiday + Bank HolidaysCompany vehicle and fuel cardPDA and uniform providedLong service awardsPerkbox benefits (free coffees, cinema tickets, retail discounts & more)1 paid volunteer day per yearApply TodayIf you're a skilled Multi Trade Operative looking for a new opportunity with a reputable contractor, apply now with Winner Recruitment.
