This Midlands-based role offers a local patch, strong earning potential, and a company that genuinely values its engineers.Lord Combustion Services Limited are a long-established, highly respected mechanical service and maintenance company based in the West Midlands, who are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team.Theyre offering a stable, well-paid role with minimal travel across the West Midlands, structured overtime and potential for further earnings, and an experienced team with a strong support structure.This is a regional roleno long-distance national traveloffering a better work-life balance while still working on varied and interesting projects.The Role:Youll be working across a range of commercial sites within the Healthcare, Educational, Sports & Corporate sectors, carrying out:Service, maintenance and repair of commercial gas boilers and associated systemsFault-finding and diagnostics (with a focus on first-time fixes)Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and gas safety checksBreakdown response and reactive maintenance (inc.
call-out rota)Commissioning (install team support & manufactures)Call-out Rota approx.

- 5 weeks per annum (1 in 12)What Youll Need:Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (essential)Proven experience with commercial boilers and associated servicesStrong fault-finding and diagnostic abilityBasic knowledge of controls/electrics (advantageous)Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)Ability to manage your own workload and work autonomouslyA reliable, proactive and professional approachAbility to complete clear industry certificate and job reportsSalary & Package:£42,500 £48,000 basic salary (subject to experience).Company vehicle available for personal use (Hybrid Estate Car option upon completion of trial)Monthly attendance bonusOn-call standby payments + premium call-out ratesOvertime paid at enhanced rates (time & a half / double time)Working Hours (Early Friday finish):Monday Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm, Friday: 8:00am 4:00pm.
