The Role As a Teacher of Health & Social Care, you will: * Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons across KS4 and Post-16. * Inspire students through innovative and relevant teaching that links learning to real-world healthcare and social care settings. * Prepare learners for examination success and coursework assessments. * Foster independent learning, critical thinking and professional understanding. * Monitor progress effectively and provide meaningful feedback to support achievement. * Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students. * Create a positive, inclusive and aspirational classroom environment. * Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement. * Support enrichment opportunities and wider school initiatives. * Play an active role within the wider life of the school community. The Successful Candidate Will Have * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. * A degree in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Public Health, Social Sciences or a related discipline. * Experience teaching Health & Social Care at KS4 and/or Post-16 level. * Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject. * Excellent classroom management and communication skills. * The ability to motivate, challenge and support learners of all abilities. * High expectations for student achievement, behaviour and attendance. * A commitment to raising attainment and securing positive outcomes for every learner. * A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
