Job description
The Corner Pin is a recently refurbished traditional pub located within the historic walls of York city centre. Just a five-minute walk from York train station, the pub benefits from a strong mix of loyal daytime regulars and tourists visiting one of the UKs most popular destinations. The business currently operates as a wet-led site and features a welcoming main bar area, a cosy snug to the rear, a dedicated pool and darts area, and a sunny beer garden that is a real attraction during the warmer months. With a good-sized kitchen already in place and space for around 35 food covers, there is a fantastic opportunity to introduce an own-food offer and broaden the pubs appeal. This is an exciting opportunity for an operator to build on an established customer base and drive growth through food, increasing both revenue and wet sales. A regular events calendar, including quiz nights, darts tournaments and community-focused activities, would further strengthen the pubs position within the local area and attract additional footfall throughout the week. Currently trading at approximately £3,000 per week with a 100% wet sales mix, The Corner Pin offers significant potential for growth through the introduction of a quality food operation and the continued development of its city centre customer base.
