Job description

Job Title: National Account Manager Location: National (UK) Reports to: Head of On Trade Salary: £50,000-£55,000 Bonus: 20% Location: Nationwide ( with occasional requirement to HQ in Swansea ) Company Overview At Au Vodka, we pride ourselves on being a luxury vodka brand that embodies sophistication, innovation, and craftsmanship. Our premium product range offers a distinctive taste experience, wrapped in a bottle that is as luxurious as the spirit inside. With a strong focus on quality, exclusivity, and premium service, we are growing rapidly in the UK and international markets. As a brand that truly understands what it means to stand out, we're looking for a passionate and dynamic National Account Manager to drive the next phase of growth and further establish Au Vodka within the wholesale and on-trade sectors. About Au Vodka Au Vodka isn’t just a drinks brand, it’s a movement. Born in Wales and recognised globally, we’ve redefined what a modern FMCG brand can be. From our iconic gold bottles to boundary-pushing flavours, we’ve built a brand that stands out, scales fast, and connects with a new generation of consumers. Our ambition is bold: to become the first FMCG business founded in Wales to reach a $1 billion valuation. We think global, move fast, and build category-defining brands from unexpected places. Already sold across multiple international markets, we’re not just part of the spirits industry, we’re disrupting it. Role Overview The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with the UK's leading national pub companies and key leisure accounts. The primary goal is to secure new business, grow existing partnerships, and maximise distribution, visibility and rate of sale across national managed estates. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening Au Vodka's position within the premium on-trade channel through long-term commercial partnerships. Key Responsibilities 1. Account Management & Relationship Building Build and maintain strong relationships with national accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and engagement. Develop a deep understanding of each account's business, challenges, and opportunities to maximise sales and brand visibility. Work closely with national pub companies and leisure partners to maximise distribution, menu presence, activation opportunities and visibility across managed estates. 2. Sales & Revenue Growth Develop and execute sales strategies to drive volume and revenue growth within the national pub company and leisure channel. Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs across the assigned ledger. Negotiate and secure national listings, ranging agreements, Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and activation plans with national pub companies and key leisure customers. 3. Brand Activation & Marketing Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver tailored activation plans, national campaigns and customer-specific promotions across managed pub estates and leisure venues. Ensure that all accounts are supplied with branded materials, POS, and other tools to elevate the Au Vodka experience in the on-trade environment. Support the creation of tailored promotional campaigns, events, and activations specific to each customer to drive brand awareness and loyalty. 4. Market Intelligence & Reporting Stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to provide valuable insights that influence sales strategy. Monitor sales performance and report on account activity, opportunities, and challenges on a regular basis to senior management. Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline updates to ensure stock levels and availability align with customer demand. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations, from order placement through to delivery and after-sales support. Collaborate with the wider sales team to share insights, best practices, and opportunities for cross-selling. 6. Negotiation & Contract Management Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with brand positioning and margin goals. Manage and execute contract renewals, agreements, and promotional support to drive long-term partnerships. 7. Customer Service Excellence Address any customer queries or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Proactively resolve challenges and ensure that service levels are maintained at the highest standard. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in national account management, ideally within the premium drinks, hospitality, or FMCG sectors. Strong understanding of the on-trade sector, including national pub companies, managed pub groups, and leisure operators. Excellent negotiation skills with a results-driven approach to achieving sales targets. Passionate about premium brands and a genuine affinity for luxury spirits. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across a variety of accounts. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making. Full UK driving licence is essential. Why Join Au Vodka High-growth FMCG business with global ambition Opportunity to help build a billion-dollar brand Fast-paced, creative environment with real ownership No corporate red tape — your impact matters What you’ll get: Early Finish Fridays 4pm Fresh lunches prepared daily by our in-house chef State-of-the-art office with onsite parking Companywide “win together” bonus scheme Your birthday off Epic launch parties and team events Enhanced maternity and paternity leave We move fast. We think big. We back our people. If you’re ready to help take a brand from Wales to the world, Au Vodka is the place to be. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
