PBS Practitioner Department: Allied Health Professionals and Psychology Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Mill Garth Compensation: £35,000 / year Description Priory Hospital Mill Garth & Priory Hospital Market Weighton £35,000 Full Time - 40 Hours Priory Hospital Mill Garth and Priory Hospital Market Weigton have an opportunity for a PBS Practitioner to join our team. Priory Hospital Mill Garth, Leeds, West Yorkshire is a level 2 rehabilitation service for adult males with a range of mental health disorders. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Meanwood and Leeds railway station approximately 3-4 miles from the service. Priory Hospital Market Weighton, East Yorkshire is a level 2 rehabilitation service for adult males, offering a tailored therapeutic programme focused on stabilisation, skills development, and community integration. It is accessible by public transport, with a bus stop nearby and local bus and train links in the surrounding area. The M62 motorway is approximately 8 miles away, with road connections along the main York-Hull route. Youll need your own vehicle and a full driving licence - well cover all business mileage. What youll be doing You will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting peoples wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. * Demonstrate best practice in the implementation of PBS, working with individuals, colleagues, key stakeholders, internal and external multidisciplinary teams, and families. * Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments. * Develop and implement PBS plans. * Provide staff training and development, including PBS, practice workshops, and other associated training. What youll bring to the role Essential for the role * Formal qualification in PBS or related field (e.g., BSc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, MSc Applied Behaviour Analysis, MA or MSc in Autism Studies, PBS/ABA Graduate Diploma). * Qualified at Degree level or higher in a relevant field, e.g., Psychology. * Experience working with people with co-occurring mental health conditions.
