Job description
We are recruiting for a Part Time Supervisor to join our team. This role offers flexible hours, supportive management, and opportunities for development. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day operations, leading a small team, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining company standards and Health & Safety compliance. Part Time Supervisor responsibilities and duties Supervise, coach and support team members to deliver high-quality service and achieve performance targets. Organise rotas and allocate tasks to ensure adequate cover during shifts. Monitor customer satisfaction and handle enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and promptly. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and Health & Safety regulations. Open and close the premises when required and carry out cash handling and end-of-day reconciliations. Maintain stock control, place orders and manage deliveries to minimise waste and ensure availability. Assist with training and induction of new staff and support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide clear communication to management about operational issues, staffing needs and performance metrics. Essential skills, qualifications and experience for Supervisor role Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a retail, hospitality, customer service or related environment preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a small team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach. Good numeracy and basic IT skills; experience with EPOS systems and Microsoft Office is advantageous. Reliable, punctual and able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure. Right to work in the UK and be able to provide relevant identification and references. Desirable attributes and training First Aid, Food Safety (Level 2) or Health & Safety qualifications are beneficial. Experience in inventory management or ordering systems. Conflict resolution and customer service training. Willingness to undertake additional training and progress into senior roles.
