We are looking for a Mobile Seed Plant Operator to join the Frontier team, based at Nayland on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will be responsible for driving to farms and processing farm-saved seed, checking quality of the seed, taking samples and maintaining mobile machinery always ensuring the site/machinery is clean and tidy and health and safety processes are always adhered to. Alongside this we are looking for someone to support the workshop fabrication team with the in-house manufacture of our bespoke mobile seed processors.

About You

• 
  
• Full UK driving licence required (HGV Class 2 would be an advantage but full training will be given to the successful candidate)

Previous Agricultural, Mechanical or grain handling experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the successful candidate (PA1 & PA11 - Seed Treatment Handling & Application)

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally

Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively

Your Role

As a Mobile Seed Plant Operator your role will involve:

• Running the mobile seed plant to clean and treat various products

Servicing the mobile seed plant to the required standards

Supervising support staff whilst operating on the customers premises

Assisting the Site Manager to carry out regular safety checks

Organising the loading of chemical and bag requirements on to vehicles, as per customer orders

Delivery of Crop Protection products during periods of the year
