The organisation delivers specialist technical services to major retail and commercial clients, supporting large-scale estates with planned and reactive maintenance solutions.An opportunity has arisen for a Depot Maintenance Technician to join the depot, delivering maintenance and repairing a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment in the distribution centre.COMPANY USP National Coverage with Dedicated Regional SupportOperating across multiple UK regions while maintaining strong local engineering teams.Specialist Technical ExpertiseDelivering compliance-led fire and security solutions in line with current British Standards and industry regulations.Structured Service Delivery ModelClear KPIs, response times, and performance metrics supported by digital reporting systems.Long-Term Client PartnershipsSupporting large, multi-site commercial portfolios with consistent, high-quality service.KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES :Complete the PPM schedule within agreed KPI timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.To work flexibly within the cluster as requiredRespond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.Order spares to the laid-down procedures.Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Senior Maintenance Technician or Cluster Facilities Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.Where plant and equipment is non-repairable, to make recommendations to the Senior Maintenance Technician or Cluster Facilities Manager regarding suitable replacement.Advise the GM and distribution line managers of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the depot.Essential Experience:C&G 2382 (18th edition)Level 3 core Electrical qualification, examples of which are: C&G2330, C&G 2365 (with relevant experience), C&G2365 etc.3 phase electrics and its applicationsDesirable Experience:Familiarity with completion of electrical certificationCity & Guilds 2391 Testing and InspectionTime served in electrical discipline or have relevant industry experience in a similar role.SALARY & BENEFITS:£38,500 (including Stand-by)Private pension schemeComprehensive benefits package including:Private healthcareLife insuranceEmployee discount schemesPermanent contract with long-term stability. xwwtmva Please call Jason on for more details and please apply to this advert to prompt a call back.
