Our client, a well-established organisation based in the Ayrshire area, is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join their busy payroll team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a fully office-based role offering the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team following an initial temporary period of at least six months. The Role Working within a high-volume payroll function, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 1,300 employees. You will take ownership of the end-to-end processing of a single monthly payroll, ensuring all payroll activities are completed accurately, compliantly and within strict deadlines. This position requires a proactive individual who can confidently manage complex payroll queries, carry out manual calculations, and work effectively under pressure in a busy environment. Key Responsibilities * End-to-end processing of a monthly payroll for approximately 1,300 employees * Accurate calculation and processing of salaries, wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions and statutory payments * Performing manual payroll calculations where required * Processing starters, leavers and contractual changes * Managing payroll queries from employees and key stakeholders * Ensuring payroll records are maintained accurately and compliantly * Supporting payroll reconciliations and audit requirements * Working closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy * Assisting with payroll reporting and system administration tasks About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: * Previous experience within a high-volume payroll environment * Hands-on experience using Dayforce Payroll (essential) * Experience managing end-to-end payroll processing for a large employee population * Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and payroll processes * Proven experience completing manual payroll calculations * Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy * Strong organisational and time management skills * The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict payroll deadlines * Confident communication skills and a customer-focused approach * Experience handling confidential and sensitive information Whats on Offer? * Opportunity to join a well-established organisation * Temporary-to-permanent opportunity with long-term career prospects * Supportive and collaborative working environment * Competitive salary and benefits package, dependent on experience J-18808-Ljbffr
