History Teacher - Outstanding School - Croydon Are you a passionate History Teacher eager to inspire students through engaging lessons that bring the past to life while joining an Outstanding school committed to exceptional teaching and learning? History Teacher Role Teaching History to GCSE and A-Level (KS3/4/5) Croydon MPS1 – UPS3 Salary Full-Time or Part-Time History Teacher This Outstanding school is looking to appoint a dedicated History Teacher to join its successful Humanities faculty from September. This is an excellent opportunity to teach highly motivated students within a department that is committed to developing historical understanding, critical thinking and independent analysis. The successful candidate will teach History across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level History. Students explore a broad and challenging curriculum covering British, European and World History while developing strong source analysis, evaluation and essay-writing skills. The Humanities department is highly collaborative, with teachers sharing resources and best practice to create engaging lessons that encourage discussion, debate and enquiry. Students regularly participate in educational visits to museums, historical sites and guest lectures that enrich classroom learning.
