Your newpany

Our client, based inBlyth, require a repairs co-ordinator for £ per hour PAYE premium (£ basic) or £ per hour Umbrella.

This is an ongoing office based temporary placement, ASAP start.

Your new role

You will work on various projects dealing with issuesplaints from residents, scheduling works to bepleted. You will coordinate social housing maintenance by liaising with tenants and maintenance staff/contractors. Your role is key to ensuring the overall quality of life of residents, as well as the aesthetics of the properties,piling/filling in spreadsheets to track progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule repairs and maintenance work to operatives and contractors, considering location, skills, availability, and response times.
  • Manage appointments with internal and external customers to ensure access arrangements are in place.
  • Monitor daily workloads and maximise operative productivity.
  • Reallocate work where required to ensure service targets are met.
  • Maintain accurate records using scheduling and housing management systems.
  • Track operative locations and availability using vehicle tracking systems and scheduling software.
  • Liaise with customers to provide updates and ensure excellent levels of service.
  • Work closely with Customer Services, Technical Support Teams, Team Leaders, and Stores to ensure jobs arepleted effectively.
  • Handle telephone enquiries, plaints, and service requests in a professional manner.
  • Review asbestos reports and municate relevant safety information to operatives.
  • Raise purchase orders for contractors and materials, ensuring costs are correctly recorded and authorised.
  • Process invoices and verify pleted works before payment is released.
  • Reconcile invoice discrepancies and liaise with suppliers where necessary.
  • Attend meetings and maintain accurate records and minutes when required.
  • Support the delivery of key performance targets and service objectives.

This role is due to begin immediately with 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday between 8:30am- 5pm and Fridays 8:30am - 16:00 which can be flexible if there are others in the team that are available to cover.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in scheduling, planning, coordination, customer service, or administration.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using IT systems, databases, and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal teams and external contractors.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of repairs, maintenance, housing services, or construction environments would be advantageous.
