About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our Identity Services and Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) capabilities.
This role sits at the heart of our digital identity and authentication transformation programme, supporting Retail, Commercial & Institutional (C&I), and Wealth Banking. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering secure, scalable, and customer-centric authentication solutions that enhance digital trust while balancing security, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and customer experience.
Working within an Agile delivery environment, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, enterprise architects, security specialists, fraud teams, risk partners, and third-party vendors to drive the evolution of our authentication and identity platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Identity Services and CIAM capabilities.
- Translate business, security, fraud, regulatory, and technical requirements into clear product outcomes.
- Define, prioritise, and manage product backlogs, epics, features, and user stories.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality authentication and identity solutions.
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for authentication and digital trust services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology, security, fraud, risk, and compliance functions.
- Ensure delivery aligns with customer outcomes, platform strategy, operational resilience, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage competing priorities and dependencies across multiple teams and programmes.
- Build effective relationships with external suppliers and technology vendors.

Required experience
- Proven experience as a Product Owner within Agile and/or SAFe delivery environments.
- Strong track record of managing complex product requirements and translating them into delivery roadmaps.
- experience creating and managing epics, features, user stories, and prioritised backlogs.

- experience working within cyber security, fraud prevention, digital identity, authentication, or financial services technology domains.

- Commercial awareness with experience working with vendors, suppliers, and third-party technology partners.
